The HOPES (Help Our Parish Educators & Students) Collection is an annual fundraiser that provides vital support to our Catholic elementary schools in the Archdiocese of Hartford.

This collection directly benefits teachers and students by awarding grants to strengthen teaching, learning, and the faith formation of every child in our schools. HOPES also allows us to maintain affordable tuition for families and thriving Catholic Schools. This ensures quality education for our young people as well as the continued zealous ministry of our Catholic Schools.

Not everyone is called to be a Catholic school teacher… but, everyone is called to participate in the formation of Christ’s little disciples. Some are missionaries and others are mission partners.

In the words of Pope Saint John Paul II,

“Some people give to the mission by going to the mission. Others go to the mission by giving to the mission. Without both, there is no mission!”

How to Donate: 

  • At Your Parish: The Collection Weekend will take place September 20 – 21, 2025 at any Archdiocese of Hartford Catholic Church. Click here to find a parish. 
  • By Mail: To submit a donation via mail, please download a Donation Form to return with your check (sorry we cannot accept cash) to:
