Made for More: Visions of the Promised Land

What does it mean to be made in God’s own Image? It means you are someone, not something.  Saint Catherine of Siena, West Simsbury, invites you to join us at this multi-media event Made for More: Visions of the Promised Land on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 7 p.m. This evening is the beginning of Saint Catherine of Siena “Falling For Faith Festival” held on the weekend of October 1 - 3, 2021. This event is for teens, parents, catechists, pastors - groups are welcomed! Registration is required. Falling for Faith Spectacular! 

 

 

Saint Catherine of Siena Church, West Simsbury is hosting “Falling for Faith Festival”, Friday, October 1, 2021 through Sunday, October 3, 2021. This is an exciting three-day multi-media festival of music, food, relationships, and community and is open to teenagers grades 8 - 12. 

The festival will include Theology of the Body presentation, “Made for More,” a multi-media event; a concert with themed talks from singer Ryan Trembly and his wife, Elizabeth Tremblay; national speaker Sarah Swafford talks on Emotional Virtue and Drama-free Relationships; a presentation by Kevin Dowd to unpack arguments for the existence of God; and the importance of social justice in the Church, and more. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday followed by Mass at 5:00 p.m. with music by Ryan Tremblay! 

Tickets are required for the Friday night event, but there is no cost for the Saturday/Sunday events. Registration will be required for all events. Saturday’s registration includes a catered lunch and Sunday’s registration includes food trucks and ice cream.
