The Center for Catholic Education & Formation and the Office for Catholic Social Justice Ministry of the Archdiocese of Hartford will sponsor a joint conference on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at the Omni New Haven at Yale. The theme, Dreaming Together: Forming Disciples for Faith and Justice takes its name from “Let us Dream” by Pope Francis, who encourages us to dream of a better future. This conference will also include a keynote presentation, three (3) break-out sessions with 24 workshops, banquet style lunch and exhibits. Simultaneous translation will be available for the keynote and limited number of workshops will be offered in Spanish. The conference will include educational and practical pieces on faith formation topics such as lifelong formation, parent and family engagement, social justice issues, and Catholic social teaching. Attendees will gain skills in integrating social ministry and Catholic social teaching into classroom, parish, and family life.
