Bereavement Ministry

Attention Current Leaders of Bereavement Ministries
Save the Date!!

On August 5, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. the Office of Faith Formation and Parish Life will be offering a Bereavement Facilitators Enrichment Workshop at the Pastoral Center. All who already lead a bereavement ministry at the parish are welcome to join us. Download this flyer for more information and click here to register. 

Virtual New Day Facilitator Training

This September, we will be offering a virtual training for new facilitators ONLY who have completed participation in a New Day Bereavement Program. More details will be in the August Newsletter. If you have questions, email: Valerie.StJean@aohct.org.

Fall Adult Confirmation Ceremony 

Every year, the Archdiocese of Hartford has two Adult Confirmation Ceremonies, one in the spring and one in the fall. The Fall Ceremony date is not availible yet, but will be posted here as soon as possible. Ceremonies usually begin at 7:00 p.m. with pictures starting an hour before the ceremony.
